I find it somewhat incredible that posters who would count themselves as clued-up would be surprised at what has happened and even more incredible that they expect someone to be honourable. For some reason they think there's a code of conduct on how to take somebody's money, its perfectly alright for a Book to weight everything in their Favour, suck a Punter dry and possibily ruin his and his Family's life, then calmly say people are over 18 their not Kids and thats acceptable yet turn a dope over for being naive is sacrosant. The same posters will cry that the US Government are out of order banning Gambling and protecting adults from the wrath of betting, like most things in life, you cant have it both ways. You guys don't find it wrong that he kept on posting his wagers on here when he already extended this repayment of this debt? CPU sounded like a reasonable man and Gyno never posted proof that his emails were threatening. If I was owed money for an extended period of time and I see that person posting his wagers every day, it would anger me also. Gyno really mishandled this situation.
Would you be ticked off if a poster owed you money, said he needed more time to pay, but at the same time was posting wagers on here daily, including a 5-unit one that hit?
Yeah, that's what I thought.
What cpu did was tame compared to what others, including myself, would've done if we were in his shoes.
Gyno was a good poster, but being a contributor doesn't make it OK to be unethical and slow-pay someone while at the same time making wagers daily.

People have owed me money my entire life, sometimes for a long time, they are still my friends..... I get mad at them sometimes if I see them spending or gambling when I know they owe me money, but heck, thats life, If I was to disown everyone who owed me money and was late at one time or another, I woudnt have many friends.

Its not a matter of defending a position, its a matter of dealing with reality instead of fantasy. The other week a poster asked me what bets I had and when I posted them you laughed at the $60 bets I had posted, I called you a Fool and the reason was you havent a clue what I do yet you made a presumption on what I posted. The fact that I probably lay out more money a Day than 99% of this site is immaterial to a fool who cannot see past his nose. Sport some points you are missing.
1. They were not friends. It was a business deal. Do you go into Walmart and tell them you'll take the goods today but pay them in a month or 6 or whenever.
2. If he was just stalling and not trying to stiff the man wouldnt it have been better to just say I need a month or two and than do it whenever it was.
3. Sports thats how you do deals and thats fine. The poster on your site doesnt do business like that and wants to get paid and not hear rhetoric.

I don't think what I was saying was a defense for Gyno, you're right. I just can't stand the way these people around here pile on the guy the first chance they get, you can tell some people were waiting for this. Now, some of the vets like you and box and whoever came at this from a good perspective and tried to give gyno some solid advice, but others are breaking the man, calling him a pedophile and whatever else. That irritates the shit out of me.
